Ralph Devon Sain, 83, of N. Post Road, Shelby, passed away Saturday,
September 5, 2015 at his home.

He was born in Lincoln County on November 26, 1931 to the late Kemp Sain and
Lona Richard Sain. He was a member of Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church
and was retired from the US Army. While serving in the Army he served in
the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Conflict.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Sain ,
a sister and other close family, Miller and Bell Deviney and other members
of the Deviney Family.

He is survived by a very special friend, Verle Cash, of Shelby; son; Honz
Sain of Switzerland; three sisters; a brother; and many members of the
Miller and Bell Deviney family.

The family will receive, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, Mt. Moriah United
Methodist Church, Casar. Condolences may be made online at

The graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, at Mt. Moriah United
Methodist Church Cemetery, Casar with the Rev. David Miner officiating.
