Ralph Francis Bridges, 91, of 198 Hollis Rd., Ellenboro, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at his home.
Born May 30, 1922 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Eura Francis Bridges and Eva Melissa Green Bridges. He was a member of Walls Baptist Church and retired from Cleveland Lumber as a cabinet maker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Pearl Greene Bridges, an infant son, three brothers, Colon Bridges, Seth Bridges, and Ben Bridges, and two sisters, Ruth Morris and Lydia Newton.
Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, John & Vickie Bridges of Ellenboro, daughter, Sarah Lou Bridges of Ellenboro, sister, Nettie Lee Logan of Casar, and granddaughter, Jessica Bridges of Ellenboro.
Visitation will be Saturday 6:00PM until 7:30PM at Stamey Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be Sunday 3:00PM at Walls Baptist Church with Revs. David Philbeck and Chris Emory officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
