Randall “Randy” “Flyboy” Clay Spinks, 68, of Pace, Florida and formerly of Shelby, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014. Randy was born in Marlinton, West Virginia and lived in Shelby, North Carolina for many years before moving to Pace, Florida. Randy retired from TRIMAC Transportation where he was in the Million Milers Safe Driving Club.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Glen R. Spinks and Juanita M. Coxey Spinks (Crestview, FL); his daughter, Lisa Spinks Gold (Crestview, FL); and his infant sister Wanda Cheryl Spinks.
Randy is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cheryl W. Spinks of Pace, Florida; his son Danny Spinks of Pace, Florida; five grandchildren, Devyn, Taylor, Ethan, Alex, and Tristen.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will follow the service.
