Randolph “Randy” Alexander
 Rev. Randolph “Randy” Alexander, 86, of Kings Mountain went to be with the Lord in his heavenly home on May 19th, 2012.  Services were held at Holiness Christian Mission.  Burial followed in Mountain Rest Cemetery.

He was a Navy veteran of WWII where he served on the USS Bellowood during seven major battles and received a purple heart.   

Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by parents William and Beatrice Alexander; six sisters; three brothers; and one great great granddaughter.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years and 10 months, Mary Helen Allman Alexander; three children, Gail Stamey and husband Danny of Kings Mountain, David Alexander and wife Cindi of Polkville, Rev. Darrell Alexander and wife Rita of Kings Mountain; one sister, Annie Love of Blacksburg; six grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 24 great-great grandchildren.

 Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC  28150

The family would like to thank Hospice of Cleveland County, the staff of Wendover, Dr. Anderson and staff, and the church family and friends for all their love, prayer and support.
