Ray Dean Wright, 57 of Stick Elliott Road, Lawndale passed away, Sunday,
August 11, 2019 at Atrium Health-Cleveland.

Born May 11, 1962 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Bryson
McKinley Wright and Ruby Mae Hoyle Wright. He was a forklift operator at
Parker Industries and was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bryson
Wright, Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Shelia Blanton Wright; a son, Chris
Ivey of Salisbury; five brothers, Kenneth Wright of Casar, Harold Wright of
Morganton, Steve Wright of Casar, Alan Wright of Morganton and Randy Wright
of Casar and six sisters, Catherine Towery of Casar, Mildred Brackett of
Casar, Gail Buff of Shelby, Barbara Rhyne of Vale, Lisa Hudson of Connelly
Springs and Pauline Wright of Casar.

The visitation will be 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Thursday at Zoar Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Thursday at Zoar Baptist Church with
Rev. Robert Mote officiating.

Burial will follow in Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery.
