Mr. Ray E. Gibson, Jr. “Rick”, 65, of Shelby, NC passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010. Services were held at Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church.
Mr. Gibson served our country, a proud Vietnam Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray E. Sr. and Elizabeth Mayhew Gibson.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Catherine Davis Gibson of the home; 1 son, Eric Gibson of Shelby; 1 daughter, Brandy Gibson Beason and husband Chris of Boiling Springs; 1 sister, Diane Patterson of Lexington, KY; 1 brother, Dale Gibson of Raleigh; and 5 grandchildren.
