Mr. Raymond Garfield Edwards, 76, resident of 1005 Brookwood Drive, Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Services were held at Central United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC.
Mr. Edwards served our country in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Edwards and Josie Berry Edwards; and 1 brother, Edd Everette Edwards.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Lee E. Edwards of Kings Mtn., NC; 1 son, Terry Ray Edwards and wife Janet of Kings Mtn., NC; 2 daughters, Sandra Lynn Edwards, and Lisa Edwards May, both of Kings Mtn., NC; 1 sister, Elaine Edwards of Warren, MI; and 4 grandchildren.
