Mrs. Reba Elizabeth Irvin Turner, 71, of 135 Dyer Drive, Shelby, NC passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011. A Memorial Service was held at the Shelby-Seventh Day Adventist Church, Shelby, NC.
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Tillman “Bill” Turner; her parents, Hershel Gordon Irvin and Nara Lena Hammett Irvin; 1 son, Michael Turner; 1 sister, Eloise Caps; and 3 brothers, George, Smitty and Roy Irvin.
He is survived by 1 son, Scott Turner and wife Jane of Shelby; 1 daughter, Teresa Lastine and husband Robert of Ooltewah, TN; 4 sisters, Myrtle Green of Shelby, Donnis Lail, Brenda Mullins and Nancy Carmoche, all of Virginia; 4 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and 2 step great-grandchildren.
Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston, NC is serving the family.
