Reba Odom Jolley, age 93, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died August 6, 2013 at Ocean Trails, Southport, NC.  She was born in Rutherford Co, NC to the late Ambrose Jessie Odom and Willie Bell McFarland Odom.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tillman Harlan Jolley, son; Charles Henry Jolley, brothers; Robert Gene Odom, Max Odom, sisters; Ailene Odom Miller, Mildred Odom Alman, and Jewell Dalton. Mrs. Jolley was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, Kings Mountain, NC.    She was retired from Burlington Industries after 30 years of service and worked in security at Spectrum.  She was the Author of “Farmer’s Daughter” published in 2005.  She also has a book of Poetry in the National Library of Congress.   She was a professional square dancer who performed  in “Sword of Gideon”, a play of the American Revolution.

3 Grandchildren: Myra Jolley Blalock, Heather Sugg, Thomas C. Sugg. 

4 Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE:  Resurrection Lutheran Church, Thursday, August 8, 2013 11:00 A.M.  Rev. Hobby Outten, officiating.

VISITATION: 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, August 7, 2013 at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
