Reta Darlene Tesseneer Owens, 60 of Bowen Drive, Shelby, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Atrium Health - Cleveland.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on May 13, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Carl Buford Tesseneer and Willie Mae Champion Tesseneer. She was a retired seamstress.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Tesseneer.

Survivors include her husband, Tracy Wayne Owens, Sr.; son, Tracy Owens and wife, Tabatha of Shelby; daughter, Nikki Owens of Georgia; four grandchildren, Dylan Owens of the home, Hunter Robinson, Tracy Owens, III and Lily Mae Owens all of Shelby and two sisters, Dianne Glover of Shelby and Judy Brewer of Denver.

Services will be private.
