Rev. Paul Landon Wright, 77, of 4030 Cowpens Pacolet Road, passed away Sunday, May 25th, 2014 at Regional Hospice Home.
Born in Chester, he was the husband of Shirley Grace Williams Wright and the son of the late William Wright and Susan Gordon. Rev. Wright retired as a farmer and was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Chesnee, SC.
Mr. Wright is survived by one son, Timothy Wright of Spartanburg; two daughters, Doll Milam of Hartselle, Alabama and Mahalia Crocker of Pacolet; two step-sons, Will Williams and Benny Hamby of Spartanburg; one step-daughter, Linda Fortner of Pacolet; two brothers, Saul Wright and Job Wright of Spartanburg; one sister, Sarah Coggins of Spartanburg; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 29 from l:00-3:00 pm at Christian Fellowship Church at 7050 Parris Bridge Road in Chesnee, SC. Funeral services will follow at the church with Rev. Frank Cooper officiating. Interment will be at the Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery following the services.
Memorials may be made to Christian Fellowship Church, 7050 Parris Bridge Road, Chesnee, SC 29323. He was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Wright; one daughter, Paula Wright; and two brothers, Silas Wright and James Wright.
The family will be at the residence.
