Richard Alan (Dick) Landmesser
 Blacksburg -- Richard Alan (Dick) Landmesser, 80, of 189 Huffman Road, passed away Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 at Residence.

Born in Lake Geneva, WI, he was the husband of Leesa Shytle Landmesser and the son of the late Casey and Helen Hartman Landmesser. Mr. Landmesser was a Master Certified Equine Dentist and spent a lifetime training horses. His impact on the Arabian horse industry will last forever. He was veteran of the United States Army and was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Landmesser is survived by two sons, Travis Landmesser of Blacksburg and Rick Landmesser and wife, Robyn, of Spartanburg; one brother, Dean Landmesser, of Abbeville; and two sisters, Carol McKenzie of Abbeville and Susan Klatt of Houlton, WI., 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Landmesser was preceded in death by a brother, Don Landmesser.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
