Richard F. Harris, age 47, of Forest City, died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Born November 21, 1968 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Paul Harris and Barbara R. Head. Richard was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1986 and worked for Cone Jacquard Industries for several years. He was a dedicated Carolina Panthers Fan and enjoyed reading.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Melody Mayer.
Survivors include two daughters, Ashley Harris of Boone, NC and Kelly Harris and fiancé, Aaron Penson of Forest City; two sisters, Debra Tricarico and husband, Anthony of Forest City and Linda Lookadoo and husband, Robert of Rutherfordton; brother, Michael Harris of Grover, NC. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Laela Penson.
At the request of the family, no formal services will be conducted.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
