Mr. Richard H. McGinnis, 84, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Sunday, June 6, 2010. Services were held at Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel. Burial followed in Sharon Memorial Park, Charlotte, NC.
Mr. McGinnis served our country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertie Lee Houser McGinnis; his parents, Hoyt McGinnis and Georgia Howie McGinnis; 1 brother; and 1 sister.
He is survived by 1 son, Alan Coggins and wife Beverly of Calabash, NC; 3 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
