Richard Jennings Ital, 75, 199 Bee's Branch Road, Blacksburg, SC, died July 13, 2012, at Kings Mountain Hospice House, Kings Mountain, NC. He was the husband of Jeanne P. Ital of the home and a son of the late George Adam and Irene Overby Ital, Sr. He was born in Centerville, MS, and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. He worked in the Garden Center of Wal-Mart in Shelby, NC. He was an avid gardener and fisherman. He loved music and played the guitar.
In addition to his wife, Jeanne, he is survived by one son - Scott Ital; one daughter - Connie LeBlanc; three grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one brother - George Adam Ital, Jr.; and one sister - Mary Katherine Farr. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Richard Kyle Ital.
A "Celebration Of Life" will be held in his honor at a later date.
