Richard Keith Annas

Richard Keith Annas, 68, of Old Shelby Rd., Vale, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his residence.

Born in Burke County on July 28, 1952, he was the son of the late Ted Valentine Annas and Genelle Brown Annas. Mr. Annas was retired from HT Hackney, a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Cooksville, a commissioner of the boy scouts, where he received the Silver Beaver Award and was a member of the Cooksville Masonic Lodge. He was in the Civil Air Patrol and loved woodworking. Mr. Annas served in the US Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Annas Stewart.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Shelia Rhoney Annas and a son, Richard Ted Annas of Vale.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Tony Sayer officiating.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, mask and social distancing is required.
