Richard Lane Foster, Sr.
Richard Lane Foster, Sr., 63, of 120 College Farm Road, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County he was born June 5, 1951, son of the late Bub and Hazel Campbell Foster.

PRECEDED: in addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Warren and Linda Glover.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Reanze Mode Foster of the home; two sons, Richie and Rocky Foster both of the home as well; one daughter, Denise Nalley and husband Charles of Shelby; four sisters, Dorothy Smart and Wanda Owens both of Cliffside, Betty Powell and husband Marvin of Boiling Springs, and Barbara Stafford of Rutherfordton; two brothers, Tommy Foster and wife Sherry of Ellenboro, and Ronald Foster and wife Nancy of Cliffside; three grandchildren, Casey, Preston, and Spencer Nalley; Brother-in-law, Gary Mode and wife Paula of Henrietta; sister-in-law, Diane Phillips and husband Roger of Boiling Springs; two nieces, Kristin McNelley, Leslie Phillips; nephew, Kevin Humphries; great niece, Kassie Humphries; and his very special buddy and companion, Scooter; his dog.

SERVICES: Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2pm in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

CLERGY: Rev. Bobby Steen

BURIAL: Internment will be at Cleveland Memorial Park.

MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to The Clifford Fund, PO Box 370 Earl, NC 28038, they raise money to help with various expenses, medical, food, etc. for the animals in the Cleveland County Animal Shelter because of his love for animals.
