Richard Meredith Jolly, 84, of Oak Ridge, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016
at Kate B Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem.

He was born in Cleveland County on July 28, 1931, to the late Richard
Burgess Jolly and Lenna Elliott Jolly. He was retired from Russ Inc. where
he was the co-owner.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel
Jolly White and one sister, Helen Hamrick.

He is survived by two sons, Richard Meredith Jolly, Jr. and wife Patsy Coble
Jolly of Stanfield and Russell Eric Jolly and wife Terry Camper Jolly of
Wallburg; brother, Hugh "Jake" Jolly and wife Helen Spangler Jolly of
Shelby; brother-in-law, Clyde Hamrick of Barnwell, SC; four grandchildren,
Meredith Jolly, Nikki Young, Joshua Moore and Rusty Jolly, Jr.; four great
grandchildren, Gavin, Greenlee, Tripp and Brody; one niece, Connie Jolly
Elzey and one nephew, Robert Jolly.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston, NC. Condolences may be made online

The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 2:00PM in the Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edwin Lee officiating.

Burial will follow in the Elliott Family Cemetery.
