Mr. Ricky Dale Strange, 51, of Lackey Street, Shelby, NC passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010. A Graveside Service was held in Rose Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mr. Strange served our country in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dillard Strange.
He is survived by his mother, Norma Smith Gedeist of Fallston; his step-father, Howard Gedeist; 1 son, Jonathan Strange of Shelby; and 1 sister, Gayla Kerley and husband Richard of Cherryville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans.
Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston, NC is serving the family.
