SHELBY- Ricky Gene Lemmons, 58, of 1918 Chatfield Road, passed away peacefully at Wendover Hospice Thursday, September 13, 2012 surrounded by his family. A native of Cleveland County, he was born August 27, 1954, son of Mamie Clara Bivens and the late Grady Lemmons, Jr. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Christy Flory Lemmons of the home; his girls, Amanda Lemmons Franklin and husband Tim and Keely Jean Lemmons all of Shelby; one sister, Gail Lemmons; one brother, Butch lemons and wife Mary Sue all of Shelby; four grandchildren, Aiden, Julian, Caleb, and Andrew; Father and mother-in-law, John and Wilda Flory of Shelby; sister-in-laws, Cherryl Barnette, Jennifer Ferrara and husband Jeff and their families.
SERVICES: The funeral will be held, 11:00 am Monday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Shelby.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Sunday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby and other times at 425 Bear Creek Road, Shelby NC 28150.

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fallston, NC.
