Cherryville - Mr. Ricky Paul Black, 59, of Tot Dellinger Road, passed away
on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

Ricky was born in Lincoln County, NC on July 8, 1957 a son of the late Paul
"Tobe" Black and Ethel Short Black. He worked as a mechanic for Talon in
Stanley and in the maintenance department for Hoff's in Lincolnton.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Christine Foster Black of the home;
sons, Paul Brantley Black and wife Odessa; Stowe Bradley Black and wife
Jessica and Ricky Thomas Black; eight grandchildren, Codie, Ceara, Shelby,
Lacee, Khloe, Destiny, Dawson and Nevaeh.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 2:30 to 3:30PM at Second
Baptist Church in Cherryville.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00PM on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Second
Baptist Church in Cherryville with the Rev. Jerry Lail officiating.

Burial will be in City Memorial Cemetery

First St. Cherryville, NC 28021
