Robert "Buddy" Dean Lovelace, 66, of 5026 Polkville Road, Lawndale, died
Sunday, March 6, 2011 at his residence.
Born November 27, 1944 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Loyd
Richard Lovelace and Jessie Shirley Blanton Lovelace. Mr. Lovelace retired
from Drexel Heritage after 43 years of service. He was a member of Big
Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby
Richard Lovelace and Don Alfred Lovelace.
Survivors: include his wife of 47 years, Linda Morgan Lovelace; son Jerry
Lovelace and wife Tammy of Lawndale; two grandchildren, Kristin Lovelace
Moses and Bryan Lovelace; great-grandchild, Malachi Moses; brother, T.C.
Lovelace of Ellenboro; and sister, Mildred "Sis" Lovelace of Bostic.
Visitation: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Stamey Funeral
Home, Fallston.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Big Springs Baptist
Church, Ellenboro. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes
before the service.
Officiating: Rev. Paul Scott and Rev. Chris Emory
Burial: Big Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Ellenboro
