Robert Edward Jackson, 63, of Shelby, departed this life Friday, July 3, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 5, 1952, to the late Herman Vails and Helen Jackson.
He is survived by his wife Joel Jackson of the home; four children Gautrell Jackson (Teri) of Winterville, NC; Nicole Ross (Chad); Greg Harris; and Sherman Dorsey of Shelby, NC.
The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral service
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, July 9,2015 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Devoe, Sr. and Pastor M. Lamont Littlejohn, Jr. officiating.
The burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
