Robert King Sherman, 73, died Friday February 14, 2014 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Born in Germantown, Pennsylvania on June 20, 1940, he was the son of the late John and Charlotte King Sherman. Bob was self-employed in the lawn care business and was a member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. He was a collector of many vintage items and enjoyed being outside. In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth Sherman; and a brother, Stan Sherman.
Bob is survived by his wife of 15 years, Gail Anderson Sherman; two sons, Bob Sherman of Shelby, and Jim Sherman and wife Heidi of Lawndale; three daughters, Susan Sherman of Shelby, Cindy Johnson and husband Mitch of Kings Mountain, and Catherine Fuller and husband Norris of Shelby; a sister, Lynn Miller of TN; eleven grandchildren, Dylan, Megan, Zachary, Kiley, Jevan, Grace, Casey, Haley, Kendal, Graham, and Sidney; a niece Devyn Paul and many other nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be on Sunday February 16, 2014 from 5:00pm until 6:30pm at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory.
