Robert Lawrence Bass, 83, of Hull's Grove Church Road, Vale, passed away
Tuesday March 5, 2019 at home.

Born March 27, 1935 in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late George
Washington Bass and Clemmie Leonard Bass. He was retired from Akzo Coatings
and was a member of Hull's Grove Baptist Church. He also served in the US
Army during the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and
six sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Canipe Bass.

The visitation will be 10:00AM until 11:00AM Saturday at Hull's Grove
Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be 11:00AM Saturday at Hull's Grove Baptist Church
with Revs. Travis Elmore and Jeremy Mahaffey officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Vale, NC 28168.
