Robert Lewis Smith, Sr. 68, of 108 Bell Street, passed away on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022, at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Judy Bledsoe Smith and the son of the late Hezekiah Smith and Jessie Smith.

Mr. Smith is survived by his daughter, Tameka Byrd (Trey) of Grover, NC; his sisters, Catherine Corry (Eddie Dean) of Cowpens, Jackie Corry and Sandra Davis, both of Blacksburg, Janice Spann of Gaffney, and Ree Camp of Cowpens; his grandchildren, Serenity Bledsoe, Tamia Smith, Aiden Smith, Aniya Hunt, and Ava Byrd; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Lewis Smith Jr., and his daughter, Brittiany Danelle Smith.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 13th, 2022, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14th, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Youngs Grove Baptist Church, 222 Youngs Grove Road, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702 with Rev. Shawn Corry officiating. Interment will follow at Youngs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
