| Mr. Robert “Steve” Lacasse, 54, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at his home. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of Deane Proctor of Shelby and the late Adrien Lacasse. He worked as an electrician, and was a member of Christian Freedom Baptist Church.
SURVIVED: In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving daughters, Amber Cook and husband Noel of Shelby, and Elizabeth Lemons and husband Ben of Boiling Springs; two sisters, Vicky Huntsinger and husband Mike, and Michele Wesson and husband Donny, all of Shelby; five grandchildren, Mikayla and Madison Lemons, Adrian and Levi Cook, and Rebecca Lemons; three nephews, Jason Huntsinger, and Josh and Cody Wesson.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 6PM, Monday, at Christian Freedom Baptist Church
VISITATION: The family will receive friends 4:30-6PM, Monday, at the church, and other times at the home of his daughter, Amber Cook.
