Robert William "Luck" Towery, 73, of Lambs Way, Connelly Springs, passed
away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care in
Valdese.

He was born in Cleveland County on May 27, 1942 to the late Clarence Marvin
Towery and Lois Edna Jackson Towery Bailes. He was retired from Four Leaf
Textiles and was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Ellen
Virginia Willis Towery and two brothers, Cleve Eugene Towery and Mickey
Towery.

He is survived by his son, William Jeffery Towery and wife Tonya of Connelly
Springs; two daughters, Mary Blackburn and husband Douglas of Avon, MA and
Melanie Downs and husband Butch of Casar; two brothers, Tony Towery of
Belwood and Sherrill Towery of Casar; two sisters, Edna Revonda Morgan of
Shelby and Judy Skates of Shelby; seven grandchildren, Reba Downs, Dustin
Downs, Christopher Towery, Amanda Downs, Allison Blackburn, Virginia
Blackburn, and Dylan Towery; and a great grandchild, Ayden Granados.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Noon, Tuesday,
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., Fallston.

The funeral services will be at 12:00 PM, Noon, Tuesday, at Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Fallston, with the Rev. Chuck Mullis
officiating.

The burial will follow in the Cleveland Memorial Park, Boiling Springs.
