Roberta White Eaker, age 94, a resident of Kings Mountain, NC went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at her home. She was born in York Co, SC, daughter of the late Robert A. White and Mary Ann Blanton White. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester C. Eaker; brothers, Pharis White, Obrean White; sisters, Virgie Farris, Beatrice Cabiness, and Margaret White. Mrs. Eaker was formerly employed with Park Yarn and retired from Margrace Mill, Kings Mtn. NC. She was a longtime member of Oak View Baptist Church, Kings Mtn. NC where she served as Sunday School Teacher, a member of the choir, nursery worker, Acteen's and GA's Volunteer. She enjoyed working with children, many of whom still love and admire her today and appreciate her Christian witness. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning, sewing, and her precious pets' companionship.
