Robyn Louise Brackett, 61, of Lawndale, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory.

Born in Cleveland County, on May 30, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Travis Edgar Brackett and Ruby Louise Dedmon Brackett. She was retired from Cleveland County School System, but had went back to education to be a resilience teacher at Fallston Elementary School. Robyn served the town of Lawndale as a councilwoman and was also a member of St. Peters Methodist Church. She loved coaching and after her retirement she became the softball coach for the Silver Bells. Robyn was a graduate for Appalachian State University. Her passions included sports, riding her Harley and her Tennessee Volunteers "Go Vols".

She is survived by her brother Rev. Eddie Brackett and wife Hilda of Kernersville; two nieces, Jennifer Walton and husband Matt and Amee Wojdyla and husband Paul of Apex; five great nieces and nephews, Noah and Nehemiah Walton and Axel, Kai, and Edie Vye Wojdyla; special friends, Tony and Jamie Willis and children, Gus, Summie, and Annie of Toluca and her beloved pup, Marley.

The graveside service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Rose Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Matt Walton and Rev. Eddie Brackett officiating. If you need to bring a chair please fill free to bring one but in true Robyn fashion the service will be short.
