Mr. Rodger Dale Knox, age 62, passed away at his residence on October 8, 2013. He was a native of Iredell County and the son of the late Rufus Craven and Margaret Carrigan Knox. He was predeceased by two brothers, Leonard and James Knox.
Rodger was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving during the Vietnam era and his hobbies included playing the guitar and singing.
Surviving are his wife, Minna Williams Knox and three children; Kristopher, Trisden, and Katie Knox, of the home.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Knox will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 15th, 2013 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 19920 Bethel Church Road, Cornelius NC, with the Rev Heath Burchett officiating. Military honors by the US Marine Reserve Honor Guard.
Robert S. Morgan, Jr., Funeral Service Licensee, LLC is serving the Knox family.
