Rodney Lee Short , age 70 of Rutherfordton, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.

Rodney was a loving son and brother but especially loved his grandmother who he called Ma Ma before she passed away when he was a young child. Rodney had attended Prospect Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC. He was a native of Cleveland County, NC

Rodney is survived by his mother Eloise Ruppe Short and one brother Laramie Aldon Short. He was preceded in death by his father Buren Aldon Short and one brother Ricky Toy Short.
