Ronald "Chris" Radford, age 53, of Forest City, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at his residence.
Born October 2, 1962 in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Robert "Bob" Radford and Jessie Hutchins Flowe who resides in Forest City. Chris was an avid golfer, having spent many a weekend on the course. He was a fan of all sports, however, a diehard fan of NASCAR, supporting Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. He was also an avid Miami Dolphins fan. Chris was certainly loved by all and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Brent Ammon.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Pamela Elton Radford; two daughters, Michelle Radford Dorsey of the home and Brandi Radford Holtsclaw and husband, Robbie of Bostic; step-father, Dr. J.B. Flowe of Forest City; brother, Robert "Robbie" Radford of Forest City; two sisters, Sharon Radford Causby of Rutherfordton and Kim Radford Ross of Forest City. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Madison and Kage Dorsey and Emma and Ethan Holtsclaw; six other nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 3, 2015 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. At other times they will be gathered at the home of Jessie and Dr. J.B. Flowe, 175 Jessica Lane, Forest City, NC 28043.
