Ronald Fairl Meadows Meadows, 66, of 117 Kents Trail, passed away Friday, January 9th, 2015, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Hamlet, he was the son of the late Esta Atkins and worked in farming and manufacturing.
Surviving Mr. Meadows are five sons, Daryl Meadows of Gaffney, Ronnie Meadows Jr. of Gaffney, Anthony Meadows of Enoree, Joseph Meadows of Enoree and John Meadows of Enoree; three daughters, April Meadows of Blacksburg, Loreatta Ouellette of Enoree and Lisa Brown of Enoree; one brother, Roy Meadows of Chesnee; two sisters, Betty Batton of Spartanburg and Madge Price of Gaffney; 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Meadows was preceeded in death by one sister, Pauleen Chase.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 11th, 2015, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12th, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Leroy "Pete" Bridges officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Daryl Meadows, Ronnie Meadows Sr., Anthony Meadows, Joseph Meadows, Billy Martin and Robbie Batton will serve as pallbearers.
The family will be at the home of Roy Meadows, 322 Green Farm Road, Chesnee, SC.
