Ronald Lamar "Ronnie" Walker
Mr. Ronald Lamar "Ronnie" Walker, 67, of 178 Harbor Point Drive passed away Saturday, May 11, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

Born in Cleveland County on December 21, 1945, he was the son of the late James William Walker and Grace Juanita Barton Walker. Ronnie was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and a former member of Fallston Masonic Lodge #
356.  An avid hunter and fisherman, he was former owner and operator of Anchor Marine in Shelby for thirty-three years.  Prior to opening the marine business, he was a driver for Carolina Freight.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Walker was preceded in death by son, JamesTodd Walker.

Mr. Walker is survived by his wife of forty-nine  years, Judy CostnerWalker; son and daughter-in-law, Trent and Kelli Walker of Cramerton; granddaughters, Katie and Lily Walker whom  he loved dearly; brother-in-law, Sammy Costner of Shelby; sisters-in-law and their husbands, Frances and Charles Propst of Shelby and Betsy and Clyde Biddle of Conyers, Georgia and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation: The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at Stamey Funeral Home in Fallston.

Memorial Service:  11:00 AM Wednesday at Buffalo Baptist Church in Shelby.
