Lincolnton -- Ronald Monroe Crisp, 67, of 3008 Beard Road, passed away Sunday, February 7th, 2016, at the Robin Johnson House.

Born in Bryson City, he was the widower of Brenda Jones Crisp and the son of the late Herbert Vincent Crisp Sr. and Nannie McClure Crisp. Mr. Crisp retired from textiles and was a of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mr. Crisp are four brothers, Albert Crisp of Silva, NC, Paul Crisp of Greenville, TN, Glenn Crisp of Cherokee, NC, and Herbert Vincent Crisp Jr of Bessemer City, NC.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Crisp was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Crisp, and two brothers, James and Adam Crisp.

A small graveside service will be held in Bryson City, NC.

The family will be at their respective homes.
