Mr. Ronnie Ruppe, age 63 of Shelby, went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2015, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center

He is survived by two children, Robbie Ruppe and wife Angie of Shelby, NC, and Cindy Blanton and husband Curtis of Mooresboro, NC, five grandchildren, Bradley Turner, Jessica Turner, Hannah Ruppe, R.J. Ruppe, and Pete Blanton, his father, Robert Ruppe, Sr. and wife Betty of Forest City, NC, and a brother, Bobby Ruppe and wife Diane of Shelby, NC and numerous nieces and nephews.

Born August 11, 1952 in Rutherford County, Mr. Ruppe was preceded in death by his mother Nell Epley Ruppe and his wife of 41 years, Ellen Rae Morehead Ruppe.

Mr. Ruppe enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He loved to watch the grandchildren play sports. He also enjoyed camping with his wife, watching the Atlanta Braves, and spending time with The Pancake House family.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, October 9, 2015 at Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Roy T. Byers, Rev. Buddy Morehead, and Rev. Tim Trexler. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church Building Fund or the Choir Fund, P.O. Box 1073 Shelby NC 28150.
