SHELBY - Rosaire "Pete" Louis Lord, age 79, of Shelby, NC, passed away January 25, 2016 at Carolinas Continue Care.
He was born January 26, 1936 in Newport, Vermont.
Pete retired from the United States Air Force as a Munitions Specialist after 21 years of service and retired from Broyhill as Captain of Security after 22 years of service.
Survivors include his son, Eddy Lord and wife Connie of Ellenboro; daughter, Kathy Ludlam and husband Lenny of Warrensburg, Missouri; and 3 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Cleveland Funeral Services.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
