Rosemary Peeler Beam Gardner
 Rosemary Peeler Beam Gardner, of Belwood passed away on Monday, September 5,
2011, at Carolina Care Center in Cherryville, a couple months short of her
100th birthday.

Born November 21, 1911, in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late
Summie Alfred Andrew Peeler and Mattie Stamey Peeler.  She worked many years
for The Stamey Company in Fallston.  Mrs. Gardner was a lifetime member of
Kadesh United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.  She also
attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she was in the Bible Study
Group.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband of
46 years, Carroll Everette Beam; second husband of 22 years, Harvey Max
Gardner; son and daughter-in-law, Donald E. and Janois Beam; brothers and
sisters, Dorothy Branton, Thomas A. Peeler, Harry A. Peeler, Blanche Warlick
and Forrest E. Peeler; and stepson-in-law, A.V. Heafner.

She is survived by a brother, William S. Peeler of Bahama, brother-in-law,
Robert Warlick of Belwood; sister-in-law, Eliza Peeler of Sylva; two sons,
T. Carlisle Beam and wife, Mary Ann of Raleigh and Mitchell "Mickey" P. Beam
and wife, Mary of Shelby; daughter, Julia B. Hoyle and husband, Johnny of
Waynesville; step-son, Hal Gardner and wife, Brenda of Shelby;  two
step-daughters, Sue Heafner of Lawndale and Maxine Spangler and husband, Don
of Shelby; ten grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and numerous
great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, step great-grandchildren,
step great-great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM, Wednesday, Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.
   Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Wednesday,  Stamey Funeral Home Chapel,
Fallston.
   Officiating: Revs. Patricia Chaput and Joe McMurry
   Burial: Rose Hill Memorial Park
