Rowuan Miguel Thorton

Master Rowuan Miguel Thorton, a precious soul known affectionately as Rowuan, was called to his heavenly home on the day of his birth, July 11, 2025. Born in the warm embrace of Charlotte, North Carolina, he was a beacon of light to his loving family. Though his time on Earth was brief, his impact was profound, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who cherished him.

Rowuan was the beloved son of Cortney Thorton, who enveloped him in love from the moment of his arrival. His grandparents, Marie and William Thorton, were blessed to welcome their grandson into the world, celebrating the continuation of a family bound by faith and love. In his short time here, Rowuan was enveloped in the Christian faith, a testament to the family's belief in eternal life and the comfort found in the arms of the Lord.

As a family united in their love for Rowuan, they found solace in the words of Scripture, particularly the comforting promise found in Matthew 19:14, where Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." This verse encapsulates the gentle, loving, and selfless nature of Rowuan, whose spirit now resides in the Kingdom of Heaven.

A funeral service to honor the precious life of Master Rowuan Miguel Brown will be held with reverence and love on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 pm at the Pisgah Baptist Church. Rev. Brandon Norman will officiate the service, providing solace and hope through the Word of God. The interment will follow in the church cemetery, where Rowuan will be laid to rest in the sanctity of hallowed grounds. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday evening, July 17, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, offering a time for reflection, prayer, and shared memories.

In the words of the revered poet Helen Steiner Rice, "A heart of gold stopped beating, two shining eyes at rest. God broke our hearts to prove, He only takes the best." These words resonate with the family of Master Rowuan Miguel Brown, as they find peace in knowing that he was indeed one of the best, a perfect creation of God, called back to the Creator's side to shine eternally.

As we bid farewell to Master Rowuan, we are reminded of the fragility of life and the boundless love that can be conveyed in a single moment. His legacy will be carried in the hearts of his family and all who were touched by the miracle of his life. Rowuan's journey was a testament to the belief that every life, no matter how brief, is a gift to be treasured, a spark of the divine that continues to glow brightly in the memories of those who loved him.
