Roy Fields Lee, Jr., 53, of 1143 Costner Road, Shelby, passed away Thursday,
June 12, 2014 at his home.
Born October 24, 1960 in Cleveland County, he was a son of L.B. Lee and the
late Mary Louise Turner Lee. He worked at Cone Mill and was a member of
Ledford Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to his father he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Deborah
Heavener Lee; son, Dwayne Dixon; three brothers, Jack Lee, Bones Lee and
Timmy Lee all of Shelby; and three sisters, Ellen Pruitt of Casar, Faye
Bridges of Crouse and Sybil.
Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Funeral Service: 1:00 PM, Monday at Ledford Grove Baptist Church. The body
will be placed in the church thirty minutes before the service.
Officiating: Rev. Jackie Price
Burial: will follow in Ledford Grove Baptist Church Cemetery
