Roy G. Laws, age 66, of Spindale, died, Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born July 19, 1950 in Rutherford County, he is the son of Laverne Padgett Laws who resides in Henrietta and the late Troy Laws. Roy worked as a self-employed carpenter for most of his life and was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church of Bostic. He enjoyed writing poetry.
In addition to his father, he was preceded by his wife of forty years, Brenda Sue Laws.
Besides his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Angela Laws, Tammy Laws and Michelle Laws; two sons, Roy Laws and Troy Laws; two brothers, Tony Laws and Ronnie Laws; two sisters, Janice Dyer and Brenda Hoppes. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
At the request of the family there will be no formal services conducted.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services has been entrusted with arrangements.
