Roy Roger Wilson, 77 of S. DeKalb Street, Shelby passed away, Sunday,
January 27, 2019 at his residence.

Born July 23, 1941 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Clyde
Columbus Wilson and Ava Scism Wilson. Mr. Wilson was retired from
Cleveland County Schools and US Army Reservists. He was a member of Lily
Memorial Baptist Church, the Marine Corp League and he served in the US
Marines during the Vietnam Era.

Survivors include his wife, Fumiko Nakagawa Wilson; a son, Tommy N. Wilson
and wife, Hermie of Boiling Springs; a daughter, Nancy Wilson Berger and
husband, Jason of San Francisco, CA and three grandchildren, Samuel Wilson
Berger, Clara Berger and Justin Wilson.

A visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home.

A funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Chapel.

Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park, Boiling Springs.
