Ruby Buff Walker Sain, 74, of 8573 Old NC 18 Hwy, Lawndale, passed away
Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center - Charlotte.
She was born in Cleveland County, on May 6, 1937, to the late Marvin Lee
Buff and Lona Mozelle Newton Buff. She was a homemaker and a member of
Olive Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her 1st husband
Johnny S.L. Walker; 2nd husband, Coye Sain son Danny Walker; brother, Ralph
Buff; and three sisters, Betty Jean Buff, Adele Hastings, and Estelle
Brackett.
She is survived by three sons, Larry Walker and wife Helen of Lawndale, Ray
Walker and wife, Kathy of Vale, and Darrell Swink of Vale.; three brothers,
Wayne Buff of Connelly Springs, Roy Lee Buff of Casar, and Gerald Buff of
Hickory; four sisters; Muriel Lingerfelt of Lincolnton, Mildred Lail of
Casar, Faye Swink of Newton and Maxine Truitt of Newton; six grandchildren,
Amanda Grace Walker, Johnny Jospeh Walker, Nicki Rae Walker, Lee Thomas
Walker, Jessie Swink and Charlene Swink; three step-grandchildren, Tina
Carpenter, Rhonda Navey and Deborah Bailes; two special grandchildren,
Alisia Zicatl and Arrianna Zicatl and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston. At
other times the family will be at the home of the son, Ray and Kathy Walker,
9419 W. Hwy 10, Vale, NC.
Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston
Officiating: Rev. Terrill Crump
Burial: Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery
