Ruby Burgess, 74, of 756 Trisha Rd, passed away on Thursday, January 19th, 2023, at her home.

Born in Quinnimont, WV, she was the wife of Dennis Burgess Sr. and the daughter of the late Benjamin White and Ruby Hicks McMillan. Ruby formerly worked in textiles and as a homemaker and was of Baptist faith.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Burgess is survived by her children, Denise Burgess, Tammy Burgess, and Dennis Burgess Jr.; two brothers, Robert Hicks and Elmer Jeffries; three sisters, Joanne Summers, Mary McGaha, and Della Hall; seven grandchildren: Christopher S. Walters, Marcus E. Burgess, Steven E. Davis, Brooke N. Davis, Trey S. Burgess, Kristen N. Burgess, and Alex R. Burgess; and seven great-grandchildren.

No services are scheduled at this time.

The family will be at their respective homes.
