Rusty Allen Newman, 36, of 140 Roark Rd, Blacksburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 25th, 2023, at his home.

Born in Fort Benning, GA, he was the son of Palmer Allen Newman and Theresa Lynn Hawkins and was medically retired from the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, Rusty is survived by a son, Kayce Newman, two brothers, Ronnie Lee Coleman and Michael Allen Newman, two sisters, Hannah Lee Nicole Newman and Christian Newman, and his paternal grandmother, Marion Lynn Newman.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 29, 2023, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC.

The family will be at the residence.
