Ruth Challand, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at her residence. A native of Toronto, Ontario Canada, she was born on May 22, 1925. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Rutherfordton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald and Hilda Godson, and her husband, John. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Challand.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
