Cherryville - Mrs. Ruth H. Morrison, 91, passed away on Monday, November 27,
2017 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain.

Mrs. Morrison was born on February 25, 1926 in Cleveland County, NC a
daughter of the late Dewey Heafner and Clara Powell Heafner. She was
retired from textiles. Mrs. Morrison was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist
Church in Waco and was a former Sunday school teacher and choir member for
many years. She will be missed by her family and all of her friends at
White Oak Manor.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev.
Sam Morrison and a grandson, Mark Brittain.

Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Morrison Farrell of Shelby and a son,
Alan Morrison of Drexel; two grandchildren, Kristen Morrison of Morganton
and Reggie Brittain of Cherryville; also surviving are several great
grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 1:45PM on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel with the Rev.
Fred Helms officiating.

Burial will be private.
