Ruth Mullinax Bolin, 89, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Peachtree Centre, Gaffney, SC. Born in Cherokee County, she was the wife of the late Pressley Bolin and a daughter of the late Steve and Lillie Parker Mullinax. Retired from the textile industry, she was a member of Cherokee Falls Baptist Church, Blacksburg, SC.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters - Nancy B. Smith and Cathy Goodson both of Gaffney, SC; two sons - James R. Bolin of Hopkins, SC, and Steve Bolin of Gaffney, SC; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sister - Geneva Mullinax of Gaffney, SC. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Castor.
A Celebration Of Life Service will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2013, 11:00 AM, graveside, at Clingman Memorial Gardens, Blacksburg, SC, with Rev. Tim Knotts officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Nancy, at 501 E. Third Street, Gaffney, SC.
In lieu of flowers, you may choose to remember Mrs. Bolin with memorials to The Fellowship Building Fund, Cherokee Falls Baptist Church, 109 School Street, Blacksburg, SC, 29702.
