Mr. Sam Marlow, 71, of 1007-4 Borders Road, Shelby, NC, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Services were held at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Cleveland Memorial Park. 

Mr. Marlow was preceded in death by his parents, Jake Marlow and Florence Oliver Marlow; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Marlow; 2 sons, Keith and Scott Marlow, both of Shelby; 2 daughters, Donna M. Willis of Kings Mountain, NC and Robbin Johnson and husband Anthony of Shelby; 1 sister, Bertha Wilson of Shelby; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 stepson; and 4 step-children.
